1tablespoonsoy sauce
1tablespoonrice syrupor agave syrup
1tablespoonvegetable oil
¼teaspoonsalt

Instructions
Press the tofu to remove excess water. You can do this by wrapping the block of tofu in a clean kitchen towel and placing a heavy object, such as a cast iron skillet or a chopping board, on top of it for at least 10 minutes.
Cut the tofu into slices or cubes.
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl.
Place the tofu in the bowl and coat evenly in the marinade.
Cover the tofu and place it in the fridge overnight or for at least 30 minutes. Flip the tofu halfway to ensure it's evenly coated.
Preheat an oven to 180°C fan (360°F).
Place the marinated tofu on a baking tray. Line with kitchen foil for easier cleanup.
Brush some of the remaining marinade over the tofu then place in the oven for 10 minutes until the tofu turns golden.
Remove from the oven, turn, then brush the tofu again with the remainder of the marinade. Return to the oven for a further 10 minutes or until golden.
Remove from the oven and serve your Sweet and Spicy Gochujang Tofu with fluffy white rice and steamed vegetables.
