Ingredients
300mlplant-based milk
100mlplant-based greek yoghurt
5mllemon juice
240gall-purpose flour
15gbaking powder
2gsalt
5gcardamom powder
20gagave syrup
60gunsalted vegan buttermelted
3gvanilla extract
Instructions
Place the milk, yoghurt and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well. Leave at the side while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
Sift the flour into a large bowl then stir in the rest of the dry ingredients.
Add in the melted butter, vanilla and milk/yoghurt mixture. Mix gently using a wooden spoon or spatula until just combined, it is important the mixture is not over mixed. The batter should be a thick consistency, a few lumps in the mix is fine.
Preheat your waffle iron, and grease before scooping in some of the mix. Watch and not over fill your iron with too much of the batter.
Allow the waffles to cook until the steam has subsided and the waffles are nice and golden. They should be nice and fluffy on the inside.
