Uzbek Tomato and Onion Salad (Achichuk)

A quick and easy tomato and onion salad. The perfect side salad to freshen up any dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 small white onion
  • 1 small red chilli
  • Small bunch of basil
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of salt and cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice the tomatoes and onions. Slice the chilli in half and remove the seeds.
  • Mix the tomatoes, onions and chilli in a bowl with the basil, oil, salt and pepper.
